Cindy Haynes joined Davis Law Office as an attorney practicing criminal, bankruptcy, and family law following her graduation from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, in 2007. She has worked as a law clerk at Davis Law Office, interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Kentucky, and is an Army veteran who served in Military Intelligence as a Russian Linguist until 2002. Cindy served as the President of the Woman’s Law Caucus while in law school, served on the International Women’s Day Coalition, and is co-founder of the Domestic Violence Initiative, a volunteer project aimed at correcting problems with the Emergency Protective Order process for victims of domestic violence in Jefferson County, Kentucky. As a former volunteer with the Louisville Office for Women and the Department of Public Advocacy, Cindy’s aggressive research and outstanding writing abilities will ensure that the advocacy you receive at Davis Law Offices is based on excellence and integrity. Born at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Cindy has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Having graduated from The College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina in 1998, Cindy joined the Army as a Russian Linguist. While serving with the 1st Armored Division in Germany, Cindy was deployed for 7 months to Kosovo as a peacekeeper. Following the September 11 terror attacks she, along with her Company, worked to provide safety and security to military posts in Germany. Cindy’s father, a retired Naval Officer, and her mother currently live in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Cindy’s brother is a Warrant Officer in the Army and flies Chinook helicopters. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys reading, playing the guitar, and spending time with her partner.
